Historical isms

HISTORY 1EE3 is largely a course driven less by historical events and more about learning how to history (verb). This has involved inquiring about the practices and processes of historical research. Much of our research and analysis has been built on somewhat abstract ideas that have shaped our understanding of the past and the present. This section explores the historical “isms” that give meaning to historical events by situating them within a broader context and community of the past.
